About the Role

We’re hiring Indoor Environmental Technicians who want more than just a job. This role is for people who care about doing work the right way, protecting homeowners, and supporting their teammates.

You’ll work hands-on in homes addressing mold, moisture, and air quality issues using industry standards (ANSI/IICRC S520/ACAC), modern equipment, and environmentally responsible solutions.

Our Core Values (Read These Carefully)

We hire, train, promote, and make decisions based on four values:

  • Mutual Respect – We treat homeowners, teammates, and partners with professionalism and dignity at all times.

  • Integrity – We do the right thing even when no one is watching—especially when it’s harder or slower.

  • Teamwork – No lone wolves. We succeed together, communicate clearly, and support one another in the field.

  • Transparency – We are honest about what we see, what we do, and why we do it—with customers and each other.

If these values don’t resonate, this will not be a good fit—and that’s okay.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform mold remediation and indoor air quality services following ANSI/IICRC S520/ACAC standards

  • Set up containment, negative air, and HEPA air scrubbing correctly—every time

  • Safely remove affected building materials when required

  • Perform detailed cleaning, disinfection, and probiotic applications

  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment

  • Communicate clearly with team leads and document work performed

  • Represent Green Home Solutions professionally inside customers’ homes and businesses

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Coachable attitude and willingness to learn technical skills

  • Comfort working in basements, crawlspaces, and attics

  • Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols consistently

  • Respectful communicator with customers and teammates

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Experience in construction, remediation, restoration, HVAC, or environmental services is a plus—but not required. We train the right people.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay with room for growth
  • 401K
  • Health Insurance
  • Paid training and certification pathways
  • Clear expectations and structured processes
  • Consistent work with a growing, stable company
  • A team environment built on trust and professionalism
  • Work that genuinely improves people’s homes and health

Who Thrives Here

  • People who take pride in craftsmanship

  • Veterans, tradespeople, and career-changers who value discipline and purpose

  • Technicians who want to grow into lead roles over time

  • Team players who care about reputation more than shortcuts

  • Ability to adapt to work schedules and flexible shifts
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
