ServPro, a national leader in the Restoration Industry, is hiring a Reconstruction Project Manager.  We are currently searching for a highly-engaged, experienced, and driven individual to manage the daily progress of specific construction projects from start to finish ensuring the highest degree of productivity and customer satisfaction.  We are looking to rapidly expand our Reconstruction Division which will lead to opportunities for personal and professional growth. 


Summary


The Reconstruction Project Manager is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to obtain and successfully execute reconstruction projects. They are responsible for ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in reconstruction services.


 Primary Roles and Responsibilities

1. Project Initiation

  • Evaluate and sell projects.
  • Educate customers on reconstruction process 
2.  Project Planning

  1. Identify and document project scope of work.
  2. Write and Review estimates.
  3. Obtain customer and client agreement on scope and estimate.
  4. Review budgets.
  5. Establish payment terms


3.     Project Execution
  1. Create project schedule and timeline.
  2. Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers.
  3. Negotiate terms and set expectations.
  4. Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors.
  5. Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers.
  6. Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
  7. Track and analyze job cost.
 4.    Customer Satisfaction
  1. Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience.
  2. Compile and resolve punch list items.
  3. Perform final walk-through with customer.
  4. Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer. 
  5. Manage all warranty activities.
  6. Assist with Account Receivables. 

Necessary Experience and Skill Set


  • Superb customer service track record.

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction field.



  • Effective written and oral communication.

  • Intermediate math skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.

  • Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.

  • Proficient with Xactimate.


Formal Education/Training



  • High school diploma/GED

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred


Physical and Work Environment Requirements


Walking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites can be loud.


Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements 


This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.  In addition, this position frequently requires long hours, working on-call and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
